Join us as we welcome Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga archaeologist Isaac McIvor, who will be giving a talk about maritime archaeology in New Zealand and the challenges that heritage agencies face with climate change. The rediscovery, recording and recovery in 2018 of the New Zealand 1863 built schooner, Daring, will be used as an exciting case study of these issues.He will be joined by Larry Paul, Member of the Daring Rescue group and Skipper of the Classic Yacht Waitangi, to discuss the Daring’s future.
