The New Zealand Archaeological Association is the national organisation for archaeology with a membership spanning professionals, amateurs, students, organisations, businesses and institutions involved or interested in New Zealand archaeology and heritage.
We are a registered charity and our governance framework includes a formal Constitution, Annual Reports presented at our annual AGM and a Members Code of Ethics by which all members must abide.
The NZAA is run by a Council of volunteers elected annually from its membership, for a term of up to three years or more. The Council is supported by an elected Secretary and other appointed members.
