    New Central Filekeeper

    By Laura Dawson | News | 21 November, 2019

NZAA, HNZPT and DOC are delighted to announce that Mary O’Keeffe has been appointed as the new Central Filekeeper.

Mary will be well known to many of you. She has worked as an archaeological consultant in Wellington for over 20 years, and has had a long involvement with the Site Recording Scheme (SRS), stemming back to the late 1980s. From 1996 until 2007, Mary managed the SRS whenever Tony Walton (then filekeeper) was on leave. She also looked after it after Tony’s death.

Mary brings a wealth of passion, experience and knowledge to the role, and we’re thrilled to see her take it on. Mary will start in the role on 21 January 2020.
