InSitu Heritage is an archaeological and heritage consultancy specialising in Māori archaeology. We pride ourselves in being a socially responsible business, building and maintaining relationships with communities and advocating for the care of archaeological sites. InSitu is based in Whakatāne in the eastern Bay of Plenty, and our projects range across the central and eastern regions of the North Island.
We are considering expanding our team, so are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and skilled archaeology graduates. Our minimum requirements are:
- Graduate qualification in archaeology
- Driver’s licence
- An interest in Māori archaeology
- High-quality written skills
- Basic knowledge of GIS
The position will be based in Whakatāne with wide ranging fieldwork, so the successful applicant must be prepared to relocate and be happy to travel away from home on a regular basis.
