Description
We are looking to appoint an experienced archaeologist in our Dunedin office. The primary role of the incoming archaeologists will be to meet the needs of our clients by providing ongoing archaeological services for existing and new projects. In this role, you will be responsible for project management from initial client advice to the completion of the job, meeting budgets and timeframes, and maintaining relationships with our clients, mana whenua, HNZPT, and other stakeholders. You will be actively engaged in fieldwork on a variety of scales, both leading the fieldwork or being part of a wider team, ensuring best practice. You will be involved in leading and contributing to a wide variety of reports (e.g., appraisals, assessments, annual summary reports, interim reports, final reports, etc.) in line with our company standards and to meet legislated conditions. You will have the support of your team leader, branch manager, and wider team, with pathways for progression in the company.
