NZAA would like to invite applications for the 2024 Walton Fund. The Walton Fund grants are awarded yearly for projects that promote archaeological site recording, recording new sites, and/or updating old records. Work in areas of the country that have yet to have any survey work carried out is encouraged. The grants are intended to help cover costs directly associated with field work, rather than wages.
Information about the Walton Fund can be found here.
Applications for the 2024 round of funding should be made to the NZAA secretary Danielle Trilford (secretary@nzarchaeology.org) by 25 October 2024. The successful applicant(s) will be notified after the NZAA Council meeting on 9 November 2024.
