It’s back to school – with an exhibition of archaeological material from historic Christ’s College – which has been an impressive architectural feature of Rolleston Avenue since 1856.

During New Zealand Archaeology week, Christ’s College and Underground Overground Archaeology are offering a chance to view a selection of the artefacts that were found at the school during the earthquake repair works.
The display will include artefacts related to the long history of education at this site, as well as staff and student accommodation.

The exhibition will be displayed in the school library, and can be viewed at the follow times:

Saturday *April 1st* and Sunday *April 2nd*.

Please meet at the College gates at 33-57 Rolleston Avenue.

The group will move to the Library at *2.30pm*

Monday *April 3rd to *Thursday *April 6th*.

Please meet at the College gates 33-57 Rolleston Avenue.

The group will move to the Library at *6.30pm.*

*Please note:*
– It is not possible to for the public to visit the visit the library exhibition outside of the dates and times listed above.
– Reservations are not necessary.
– There is no parking on site.
