Central Hawke’s Bay Archaeology Day

Archaeology Excursion

to Early Pa Site near Porangahau  Saturday, 8th April 2017

 Bus leaving Waipawa at 9 am from theMuseum Car Park

  •  Waipukurau at 9.10 am from the Car Park opposite the   Tavistock Hotel
  • 10 am Lecture by Elisabeth Pishief, Archaeologist, at the Porangahau Country Club with Morning Tea
  • Visit of early Pa site
  • Visit of Maori Artefacts Collection
  • Visit of early Killing Shed
  • Lunch at Porangahau Primary School
  • Bus trip back to Waipukurau/Waipawa

 Morning Tea and Lunch $ 15 which is a fundraiser for the school.

 The bus fare to Porangahau $ 20
