1 May 2019: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.  Duration: 1 hour.

Whare Wānanga, Level 2, Central City Library, 44  Lorne  Street, Auckland.

A day in the life of an Auckland Council Archaeologist: with a panel of Council archaeologists for Archaeology Week. Archaeologists in Auckland Council’s Heritage Unit work hard to protect and  preserve Tāmaki Makaurau’s heritage. While the work they do achieves good heritage outcomes for Tāmaki Makaurau, it is also extremely varied.

Join  this panel discussion, as part of the New Zealand Archaeological Association’s Archaeology Week, to learn more about the work they do.

For further information please contact the Auckland Research Centre via email at arc@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz or by phone (09) 890 2412.
