Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his escapades have fundamentally changed the way society views archaeologists and the field of archaeology. To celebrate New Zealand Archaeology Week (28 April to 6 May 2018), we are screening the first three Indiana Jones movies on three consecutive nights. Come along and enjoy the thrilling adventures of the world’s most famous fictional archaeologist! See all three of these iconic films, or just your favourite.

7pm, Wednesday 2 May: Raiders of the Lost Ark Archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones is hired by the US Government to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis.

7pm, Thursday 3 May: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom After arriving in India, Indiana Jones is asked by a desperate village to find a mystical stone. He agrees, and stumbles upon a secret cult plotting a terrible plan in the catacombs of an ancient palace.

7pm, Friday 4 May: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade When Dr Henry Jones Sr suddenly goes missing while pursuing the Holy Grail, eminent archaeologist Dr Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr must follow in his father’s footsteps to stop the Nazis from getting their hands on the Holy Grail first.

Drinks and food will be available for purchase before each screening.

7pm, Wednesday 2 May – Friday 4 May
Individual shows: Adults $15, Children $10
All three shows: Adults $35, Children $23
