A guided walk on the vegetation and challenges with an archaeological heritage site in a more crowded city.

Join Kit Howden from the Friends of Maungawhau at end Batger Rd for a guided walk. Tue 4th April, 10 am to 12 noon.

Kit and volunteers from the Friends of Maungawhau have been weeding, planting and repairing eroded areas on Maungawhau for the last 15 years. This guided walk with explore the little known places and discuss the plants needed and not needed on this valued archaeological site.

Good shoes are required (tracks are rough in places).

Easy access by bus from Mt Eden Rd. (277 or 274).
